Ashland Skateland is home to the Central Virginia Youth Roller Hockey League (CVYRHL). We offer hockey league play for girls and boys ages 4 to 17 and an adult co-ed hockey league for those 18 or older. Adult pick-up hockey games are also offered weekly. Players and their parents are admitted FREE to all public skating sessions!

Required Equipment
The following equipment must be worn anytime a player is
on the playing surface. All hockey gear required for the league is
available for purchase at Ashland Skateland at great prices. Mission,
Tour, Itech, Franklin, Hyper, Black Biscuit and other brands are available.

Game Structure
Squirt Game - maximum of 11 players per team. Five on five plus goalies. Three 11-minute periods, players are designated A or B to ensure equal playing time.
Pee Wee / Junior Games - maximum of 10 players per team. Four on four plus goalies. Two 18-minute periods. Coaches substitute players on the fly or at stoppages of play. No offsides. Clock stops last minute of the game if score is within 1 goal or tied.
