We offer a youth hockey league (CVYRHL) and adult pickup hockey.
Winter/Spring 2012 Season is now in progress!
Seasons: Game/Practice Days
Fall (September-December) 10 games + playoffs Saturdays or Sundays
Winter/Spring (January-April) 10 games + playoffs Saturdays or Sundays
Summer (June-August) 8 games + playoffs Mondays or Tuesdays
Age Groups: Players may play in two divisions with division commissioner approval
Squirt Division ages 8 & under
Pee Wee Division ages 11 & under
Junior Division ages 14 & under
Senior Division ages 17 & under
Game Structure:
Squirt Game—Maximum of 11 players per team. Five on five plus goalies. Three 11-minute periods, players are designated A or B to ensure equal playing time.
Pee Wee / Junior Games—Maximum of 10 players per team. Four on four plus goalie. Two 18-minute periods. Coaches substitute players on the fly or at stoppages of play. No offsides. Clock stops last minute of game if score is within 1 goal or tied.
